Day Fifty

My dear friend LaDonna King came and took pictures of the puppies today. I know a lot of you wanted to see stacked pictures so today is your day. It was great to see LaDonna and take puppy pictures again. Over many years we have taken pictures of many, many litters but I believe this will be our last one. LaDonna was the breeder of this litter's grandmother Harlow. She also was the breeder of the great grandfather Gage. We have had lots of adventures together and made many memories. Thank you, LaDonna!

I will post 5 pictures of each puppy. (left side, right side, front, rear and face). Some are better than others because some of the pups were more cooperative. Before I start that here is a picture that would make a good puzzle.

 Week Seven

One more week and these babies can start leaving for their new homes. I believe they are ready. I forgot to tell what they did as soon as they got home from their big adventure yesterday. We brought them in and put them in their pen and they all ran for the potty patches. They didn't want to go in the car. They really held it a very long time. They are learning. I forgot to weigh them last week so there was a huge jump in weight. The biggest one is no longer Tundra. Chill has overtaken the rest of them He now weighs 11 pounds. Shiver is still the smallest at 9.2 pounds. All the rest are 10 or over.

I don't have much in the way of pictures today. I took a lot of videos outside but they were all terribly out of focus so I will not post any of them.

Some days wonderful things happen and today was one of those days. The delivery guy brought a giant box of presents for the puppies. They were from Maks daughter Maddie! She sent a not to Maks telling him to share the goodies with Tiffin too. It was so thoughtful of Jeana to do such a wonderful thing and it brightened my day! Thank you so much Jeana! Here is Maks and Tiffin checking out the presents.

Day Forty-Eight

Well, the hearing test is over so one more thing I can check off the never-ending list. The results were as I expected 6 bilateral hearing and 1 unilateral hearing. Chill only hears in his right ear which I knew since he was 3 weeks old. I could tell because I have watched these puppies for many hours since day one. I observed that when he was sleeping soundly on his right ear, and I made the pssst sound his little head did not pop up but when he was sleeping on his left ear he would respond instantly. Being a uni myself I could understand what was going on. Fortunately for him his new owner has trained unilateral Dals in the past and he will have a wonderful normal life learning obedience, agility, tracking and who knows what else!

I was so pleased with the puppies when I got up this morning because everyone hit the potty patch during the night. Sometimes they get on it but only the front makes it all the way on leaving the business end off target.

So here are some of the pictures we took today.

Love at first sight!

What are they talking about.

There are many beds they have to sleep in so how can this be comfortable?
